Complete attached application form
Send supporting documentation: latest Annual Report or CV in the case of an individual application to bola@heartfoundation.co.za
Membership will be approved by the Executive Committee and only if there is a 2/3 majority vote.
Annual membership fee to be paid.
Categories of membership
National Members - The Heart Foundation in each country in Africa that takes an active leadership role in reducing cardiovascular disease and which represents the community of people working towards that end. Only one Heart Foundation from a Nation can become a National Member.
Ordinary Members - Other Heart Organisations that are not National Members.
Interim National Members - When a country does not have a Heart Foundation that meets the requirements of a National Member, the Society of Cardiology in that country may become an interim National Member for a period not exceeding 2 years.
Honorary Members - Individuals who distinguish themselves in service to African Heart Network may be designated “Honorary Member” by the executive council and receive special benefits as may be determined by the Executive Committee.
Associate Members - Individuals who in the opinion of Executive Committee are interested in accomplishing the objectives of Heart Foundations.
